The scores were level at 9-9 when the rain came down, and there was no further racing after an aborted attempt to run Heat 4 when home rider Cory Gathercole came down on the first bend.
Brummies had taken a 5-1 from Heat 2 with former Somerset man Jay Herne combining with Lee Smart for maximum points, and there was also a second place in Heat 1 on his debut for Rusty Harrison - but the meeting will now need to be re-scheduled.
SOMERSET 9: Steve Johnston 3, Emil Kramer 3, Simon Walker 1, Nick Simmons 1, Justin Sedgmen 1, Tom Brown 0, Cory Gathercole dnr.
BRUMMIES 9: Jay Herne 3, Lee Smart 2+1, Rusty Harrison 2, Ludvig Lindgren 2, Tomasz Piszcz 0, Richard Sweetman 0, Jason Lyons dnr.
