KING'S LYNN v BRUMMIES, PREVIEW

Wednesday August 13, 2025
BIRMINGHAM travel to King’s Lynn on Thursday (August 14, 7.30pm) for their latest ROWE Motor Oil Premiership outing.

The two sides met at Perry Barr on Monday where it was the Stars who edged the contest 47-43.

The Curtis Sport Brummies are still five points behind sixth placed Oxford in their quest to avoid this year’s wooden spoon.

But team manager Chris Adams just wants his riders to go into the final run of fixtures in determined mood.

“The effort from the lads was there on Monday and I don’t think we deserved to lose,” he said.

“The track was a lot better this week and we saw some decent racing at times.

“But Ben (Barker) was struggling with his shoulder injury and we were just missing those couple of extra points from elsewhere.

“But that one’s gone now, the meetings are running out and we need to give a good account of ourselves in these last couple of weeks.”

At the time of this preview’s release, Barker was hopeful of being fit enough to take his place at the Adrian Flux Arena whilst Ben Cook makes his return for the hosts.

KING’S LYNN: Jan Kvech, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Chris Harris, Richard Lawson, Nicolai Klindt, Ben Cook, Luke Harrison.
BIRMINGHAM: Tobiasz Musielak, Jonas Jeppesen, Keynan Rew, Paco Castagna, Matej Zagar, Ben Barker, Sam Hagon.
