WOLVES SEAL 2025 MDL TITLE WITH WIN OVER DUCTAIR BULLS

The 2025 Midland Development League title was secured by the WOLVES with one meeting to come with a 24-12 win over the Birmingham DUCTAIR Bulls.
The Wolves started in the best possible way with an opening heat 5-1 from skipper Ryan Ashcroft and his 15 year old team partner Dylan Huthwaite , who again impressed.
Bulls Jacob Fellows made a lightning gate in heat 2 with Harley Driscoll-Freeman chasing him hard.
The Wolves were on maximum form again in heat 3 as Ashcroft and Huthwaite posted another 5-1 maximum heat win to put them 8 ahead at 13-5.
Harrison Rogers impressively took the win in heat 4 from Joe Crewe and Bailey Fellows and the Wolves all but had the title in the bag at 16-8 .
The success was achieved in heat 5 as skipper Ashcroft secured another 9 point max and with Harley Driscoll-Freeman taking third ahead of Jack Crewe the Wolves 4-2 made it 20-10.
Harrison Rogers and Dylan Huthwaite added a final heat 4-2 to make it 24-12.
In the 125cc support races Oscar Berwick secured a 9 point max after some hard battles with Charlie Fletcher with visiting young Scottish racer Lewis Hague third.
In the B group young Scot Callum Hague won his three rides with girl racer Lily Bence having her best meeting yet with three 2nd spots. Cody Smith finished on 2 and AJ Bence 1.
