BULLS 48 PLYMOUTH 41

Monday June 23, 2025
BIRMINGHAM’s development team held on for a 48-41 home win over Plymouth on Monday.

The Ductair Bulls got off to a super strong start with four heat advantages in the opening five races helping them move into an early 12 point lead.

That was increased to a 16 point margin when Eli Meadows and Arran Butcher combined for a 5-1 in Heat Eight - one race after reserve Senna Summers was withdrawn after a seized engine caused him to crash out, hurting his hip and groin in the process.

The visitors finished the stronger of the two sides though with three advantages in the final five races.

But the Bulls had built up enough points to see themselves over the line for the first time since opening night.

The two meet again at Plymouth on Tuesday night.

BIRMINGHAM 48: Sam McGurk 13, Max James 9+1, Tom Spencer 9+1, Arran Butcher 8+1, Eli Meadows 7, Senna Summers 2+1, Darryl Ritchings R/R.
PLYMOUTH 41: Cooper Rushen 13+1, Ben Trigger 11+1, Mickie Simpson 6, Charlie Southwick 4+2, Ryan Ingram 4+1, Kai Ward 3+2, Morgan Williams R/R.
