| | BIRMINGHAM stage their first National Development Trophy fixture of the season on Monday (March 31, 7.30pm) with Leicester Fox Cubs the visitors to Perry Barr.
The Ductair Bulls have assembled a strong side for the competition with former Brummies’ skipper Darryl Ritchings back to captain the team.
Tom Spencer, Arran Butcher, Max James and Eli Meadows all have some connection to Monday’s opponents whilst Sam McGurk and Senna Summers complete the septet.
Leicester’s Fox Cubs include teenage sensation William Cairns at No.1 and Bulls team manager Laurence Rogers is looking forward to the clash and the year ahead.
“I think we have a solid side that will do us proud,” he said.
“I tried to maintain some Birmingham connections in the side and it’s great to have been able to.
“Leicester are headed by the talented William Cairns who is a star of a making so I think we’re in for a great night of speedway!”
There is also a second half in the Midland Development League which sees the Birmingham Supporters’ Club Buffaloes face Wolverhampton.
Admission prices have been set at £15 adults and £13 concessions whilst all children aged 16 and under will get in for FREE.
In addition, any 2025 Birmingham Brummies Season Ticket holders can watch Bulls’ meetings at a reduced price of just £10 upon production of their season ticket at the main doors.
