| | BIRMINGHAM'S away fixtures for the year ended with a 56-34 defeat at Glasgow.
It was another tough night for the makeshift Curtis Sport Brummies who took on the high-flying Scottish Tigers with just two of their own riders.
Guests Ricky Wells and Zach Cook provided the Perry Barr outfit with their only two race winners of the night with stand-in skipper Justin Sedgmen picking up five second places on his way to top scoring with 11 points.
Team manager Laurence Rogers said: "It was another hard fought night from the Brummies and our guests with some battling rides throughout.
"Glasgow are in really good form around their home track though and have ambitions of winning the league this year.
"Our guests gave it their all though to back Sedgy up - now to focus on winning on Wednesday!"
Brummies host their final league fixture of the season at Perry Barr on Wednesday (August 10, 7.30) with Berwick the visitors.
GLASGOW 56: Benjamin Basso 18, Tom Brennan 10, Connor Bailey 10, Broc Nicol 8+1, Paul Starke 7+2, Danyon Hume 3+1, Craig Cook R/R.
