BIRMINGHAM have received a behind the scenes raceday boost with the news that Tolley Badges have increased their sponsorship for the remainder of the season.

The Kinver based business have underlined their commitment and belief in the Curtis Sport Brummies by providing extra backing for the rest of 2022.

Nigel Tolley, who is also a co-promoter of the club, said: "Increasing our sponsorship was not something we had anticipated doing, but the expenses of running a team have been considerably higher than expected and this is our way of helping to ease the burden.

"As a consortium, Birmingham Speedway are doing everything they can to increase sponsorship and improve attendance and hopefully our increased sponsorship will help bridge the gap until these initiatives start bearing fruit."

The Curtis Sport Brummies entertain reigning Champions Poole at Perry Barr tonight (Wednesday) with tapes-up at 7.30.

The visitors include former Brummies' favourite and 2016 British Champion Danny King, former Great Britain representative Steve Worrall and triple British Under-19 Champion Drew Kemp.
