BIRMINGHAM remain on course for the play-offs after a 56-34 victory over Eastbourne at Perry Barr.
The Selco Bruumies were behind throughout the first half of the meeting - but Martin Smolinski and Josh Auty both nipped past Denis Gizatullin on the final lap of Heat 8 to pull them level.
They seemed to instantly grow in confidence from that point on, as they banged in heat advantages in each of the final seven races - including four 5-1s - to storm to a twenty-two point triumph.
The top two of Bjarne Pedersen and Sebastian Ulamek again performed excellently, whilst Ben Barker and Danny King continue to form a deadly partnership.
Auty bagged two paid wins as he finds his feet in the main body - and with Nicolas Covatti and Smolinski scoring well down at reserve, Brummies were rampant winners.
Co-team boss Phil Morris said: "I'm very pleased. The boys really put a shift in. The first eight heats weren't looking great but the second half of the meeting really showed what Birmingham are capable of as a team.
"I believe if we can put two halves of the meeting together like that second half, then we can beat anyone around this circuit without a doubt."
BIRMINGHAM 56: Bjarne Pedersen 12+1, Sebastian Ulamek 12, Ben Barker 9+1, Danny King 9, Martin Smolinski 6+1, Josh Auty 5+3, Nicolas Covatti 3+1.
EASTBOURNE 34: Lukas Dryml 8+1, Cameron Woodward 8, Nicolai Klindt 6+1, Denis Gizatullin 5, Joonas Kylmakorpi 4+1, Lewis Bridger 3, Simon Gustafsson R/R.
