BIRMINGHAM'S Midland Development League side have made two key signings for their 2019 campaign.

The Bulls have added former National League reserve Sheldon Davies to their squad while the team will again be sponsored by local company Ductair Electrics Limited.

Team boss Laurence Rogers said: "We're delighted to be able to offer Sheldon a Birmingham return in some capacity.

"He came into our National League team last year at really short notice and benefitted greatly from the experience he gained.

"It's disappointing to see that he hasn't been snapped up anywhere for the 2019 season but his plan is to keep plugging away, work hard with the Bulls and put himself in the shop window for when teams look to inevitably make changes throughout the season.

"We're also thrilled to have Ductair Electrics Limited back as main team sponsor of the Bulls.

"Sheila and Chris Bowen are long-time Birmingham supporters and they do a lot behind the scenes as well.

"We can't thank them enough for their generosity once again."

Meanwhile Sheila Bowen of Ductair Electrics Limited said: "This level of Speedway is so important and we're delighted to again be a part of it.

"Arran (Butcher), Rachel (Hellowell) and Sheldon (Davies) are three wonderful young riders and it's nice to have some local youngsters in the team in Bailey and Jacob Fellows as well."
