BIRMINGHAM heat-leader Danyon Hume is facing another spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder.

The 21-year-old was involved in a crash at Ipswich on Thursday – the night he made his return to action following a recent arm injury.

And with some key fixtures coming up, Edwards Plumbing Brummies bosses are once again assessing all options available to them.

Team Manager Laurence Rogers said: “You have to feel for Danyon because he came back from that broken arm so well at the start of the season and now he’s had these two injuries in such a short space of time.

“He’ll bounce back though, there’s no doubt about that, but he’s going to be out for at least a couple of weeks I’d imagine.

“He had to be knocked out so they could pop the shoulder back in on Thursday and he’s going to need to rest up for a bit.

“We need to look what’s out there in terms of a temporary replacement but based on previous searches, we’re going to have to pull a rabbit out of the hat.”

Brummies return to Perry Barr this Wednesday (July 18, 7.30) where the club will be celebrating their 90th Anniversary as they take on Mildenhall in the Travel Plus National League.
