BIRMINGHAM are gearing up for tonight’s key home fixture against Mildenhall at Perry Barr as they aim to continue their play-off push (7.30).

A win for the Surestop Brummies would see them move level on points with fourth placed Cradley and would give them some momentum ahead of a vital period.

They compete in five huge meetings over the space of the next week in what could prove to be a make or break run for the reigning National League Champions.

Skipper Jack Parkinson-Blackburn said: “Everyone knows what an important week this is for us and we know what target we’ve got in mind.

“Realistically, we have to make sure we win tonight – but also make sure Mildenhall don’t get anything out of the meeting too because they’re one of the teams who we’re fighting with to try and get into the play-offs.

“It’s not going to be easy because they’ve got a strong team and we’ve got a few key riders missing –but we’re all determined to step things up another level now to get the results we need.

“Hopefully there’ll be a big crowd to cheer us on because just having the fans making some noise for us really does fire us up even more.

“It’s going to be a cracking meeting and this is where we have to prove how much we want to be in the play-offs.”

To coincide with the summer holidays, Children under-16 will be admitted FREE when accompanied by a fully paying adult.
